Scholarship

Our slogan says it all, "Imagine, Believe, Achieve".  We believe that Phi Mu offers you a place to belong and be successful.  We expect all members to be the best that they can be and to truly have pride in our Sisterhood.  Achieving academic excellence is a high priority for all Phi Mu chapters and we work hard to make sure our new sisters transition smoothly fro high school to college while making studying fun.

Older sisters offer help to the younger sisters in the form of tutoring, old notes and books, and advice on professors and classes.  We have an Academic Excellence Chairman who implemets a yearly program striving to aid Sisters in top performances.  GPA goals are set and chapter competitions, rewards, and incentives are planned.  At our formal every year we recognize those sisters who have earned high grades and who have improved.  We currently have sisters involved in all different organizations for their major such as Service Corps, Tetha Epsilon Tau, Belmont Copyright Society, GRAMMY University, Student Nurses Association.  We have many sisters doing various internships with companies all over Nashville and even all over the country.  Many of our women are involved in honors organizations such as Beta Gamma Sigma.

Phi Mu's take pride in the scholarships they have received.  Our chapters awards various scholarships at the beginning of each semester.  Our sisters no matter what collegiate chapter they come from are always happy to help us better our careers and our futures. 

The Phi Mu National Association awards over 85 scholarships, totaling over 85,000 to Phi Mu's around the U.S.  It also offers the Project HOPE internship and the Children's Miracle Network "Happy" Parker Lowden internship.  Phi Mu was the first NPC group to endow a fund through the NPC Foundation for Academic Excellence.  This fund not only helps our chapter but provides guides, challenges and programming for College Panhellenics across the ocuntry.  Phi Mu encourages us throughout our colelge careers, from beginning to end, to strive to become the best we can be.
