Letter From Recruitment Chair

To all potential new members, family, and friends of Phi Mu Theta,

My name is Jenn Cooke and it is my privilege to be writing this letter to you as you seek to know more about Phi Mu! Serving as Membership (Recruitment) Director allows me to make sure the recruitment experience goes smoothly for our sisters and is enjoyable for all of our potential new members who we always look forward to meeting. As we prepare for recruitment I’d like to give you a glimpse of what Phi Mu is all about. Phi Mu is not just two letters or simply a club for girls; it is a family committed to succeed and serve. We are passionate about our dreams and others aspirations and helping one another to achieve our greatest and love others well. We each come from different backgrounds and have walked separate paths, yet this gives us our diversity and uniqueness that makes Phi Mu what it is to us, a home away from home. In our sisterhood we share a strong bond, it is one that is not fully understood until you have experienced it for yourself, but it can be summed up in our three ideals: Love, Honor, and Truth.

Recruitment is truly the experience of a lifetime where the friendships made can last a lifetime whether they are founded in greek affiliation or not. It is normal to be nervous, overwhelmed or maybe even skeptical, but we encourage you to see what sorority life at Belmont is all about. We would love for you take a look around our website and social media to learn more about our members and involvement on campus at Belmont. We hope to see you at Recruitment this coming Fall Break. The sisters of Phi Mu Theta are excited to meet you!

Best Wishes,

Jenn Cooke
